I am in network with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York.
You can use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) for payment. We also accept check, cash, and credit card payments. Payment plans are always offered to clients pursuing an evaluation.
If you have insurance other than Highmark BCBS of WNY, I am happy to provide you with a detailed invoice (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
-
If you have Highmark BCBS of WNY as your insurance, you can reach out and ask your insurance what your deductible, coinsurance, or copay would be for a psychological assessment using CPT codes 90791, 96130–96131 and 96136–96137.
If you are interested in out of pocket (private pay) evaluation, after a free 15-minute phone consultation I can provide a personalized estimate based on your specific needs and goals for the evaluation. Evaluations typically range from $1,500.00-$2,000.00 out of pocket.
The cost of a psychological evaluation varies depending on several factors, including the nature of the presenting concern, the age of the client, the complexity of the referral question, and the specific measures and protocols required.
For example, evaluations for older adolescents and adults often involve more in-depth history-taking from the client and collateral sources, which can affect the overall time and scope of the assessment.
I strive to be transparent about fees and provide clear, upfront estimates before moving forward. Each evaluation is tailored to the individual and designed to be both comprehensive and useful in addressing your goals.
Individualized payment plans are available upon request.

An evaluation at Stanford Psychological Services, PLLC typically includes a four step process:
A free 15-minute consultation via phone to discuss your case.
A 60 minute clinical intake session with client and parents/guardians (if <18 years) (offered via telehealth or in-person)
A 60-90 minute parent-only interview to collect relevant developmental, medical, educational, and social history (offered via telehealth).
An in-person evaluation (typically lasting between 60-120 minutes depending on referral question)
A 60 minute feedback session. This can either be with client and parents, parent-only, or client-only (offered via telehealth). This feedback session will include a detailed summary of findings, discussion of diagnostic criteria, and recommendations.
All evaluations will include a written psychological report. This typically is delivered via the Client Portal 3-4 weeks after testing concludes.
